The Texas-Oklahoma State game was better than expected on Saturday in Austin. After having been run out of Dallas the week before by Oklahoma, the Longhorns had some opportunities to pull off the upset against the Cowboys, but just weren’t experienced enough to get it done. As they say, an older, talented team, will beat a younger, talented team ALMOST every time.

Looking ahead…
Going to LSU this week to see the #1 team in the country play Auburn. I like LSU’s experienced, physical offensive line versus Auburn’s defensive front. Auburn doesn’t have a senior or junior defensive linemen in the two-deep depth chart. Let me say it again: an older, talented offensive line will handle a younger, talented defensive line ALMOST every time.

Really, really hope the season ends with FOUR undefeated teams! Now that would be FUN!!
