ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Pierre Jackson scored 18 points as Baylor held off a tough challenge from South Dakota State in a second-round matchup on Thursday by a final score of 68-60.
The Jackrabbits led big early, then fell behind by double-digits in the second half before rallying to give the 3rd-seeded Bears a scare.
Baylor advances to play the winner of Colorado-UNLV.
