LOUISVILLE, KY – Isaiah Canaan’s 15 points led 6-seed Murray State to a second round NCAA Tournament victory over 11-seed Colorado State.
Murray State (31-1) seized control of the game with a 16-2 run to open the second half, erasing a one point halftime deficit. The Racers advance to face the winner of 3-seed Marquette and 14-seed BYU in the West Regional on Saturday.
Colorado State (20-12) was led by Pierce Hornung’s 12 points.
