NEW ORLEANS, LA – Kansas seven-foot center Jeff Withey may very well be the “X-Factor” heading into Monday night’s showdown between his Jayhawks and the Kentucky Wildcats for the national title.
With Wildcats forward Anthony Davis wreaking havoc all throughout this NCAA Tournament, Withey will have to shoulder a lot of the responsibility for attempting to contain the AP Player of the Year. His defensive and rebounding efforts could very well mean the difference between victory and defeat for the Jayhawks.
John Tautges caught up with the Kansas junior prior to the national title game.
