Men’s Lacrosse Semifinals This Saturday! Live on WestwoodOneSports.com!

The match-ups for this weekend’s Men’s Lacrosse semifinals are set. Top-seeded Loyola-Maryland advanced to Saturday’s first game with a tense 10-9 victory over Denver. The Greyhounds will face fourth-seeded Notre Dame, who earned a trip to Boston with a 12-10 quarterfinal win versus defending champions Virginia. In the other semifinal, Maryland will face Duke. Maryland is the only unseeded team to advance to this year’s final four, courtesy of an 11-5 victory over #2 seed Johns Hopkins. Third-seeded Duke defeated Colgate 17-6 in the quarterfinals to book their place in Boston.

Saturday, May 26th: 2:15 PM ET

Game 1: (1) Loyola-Maryland vs. (4) Notre Dame

Game 2: (unseeded) Maryland vs. (3) Duke

Steve Panarelli, a former All-American at Syracuse and 2004 national champion, joins the Westwood One / NCAA Radio Network as our analyst for this year’s lacrosse coverage.

Jason Horowitz will serve as the pregame and intermission host, a role he also has served for NCAA Radio Network’s coverage of the NCAA Men’s Frozen Four, and the satellite/online/mobile portion of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
