LYTHAM ST. ANNES, ENGLAND – In one of the most stunning finishes to a British Open in recent memory, Ernie Els managed to win the Claret Jug after Adam Scott bogeyed the final four holes at Royal Lytham & St. Annes.
Els shot a final round 68 to get into position, but it was Scott’s collapse after holding a four-shot lead with four holes to play that will be remembered for years to come.
