LYTHAM ST. ANNES, ENGLAND – American Brandt Snedeker charged to the top of the leaderboard at Royal Lytham & St. Annes with a second-round 64 that has him -10 through two rounds of the 2012 British Open.
The 31-year-old Tennessean birdied six of the first 12 holes then finished with six consecutive pars to complete a bogey-free round.
First-round leader Adam Scott followed up his Thursday 64 with a 67 and is one shot back at -9.
Tiger Woods also carded a 67 to finish -6 overall. Woods holed out from a greenside bunker on 18 for a birdie.
