Basketball: Team USA men into gold medal game; women ready for France

LONDON – USA Basketball is alive and well. The men’s team pulled away from Argentina in the second half of its Olympic semifinal game to earn a spot in Sunday’s gold medal game against Spain.

The women, meanwhile, will take on France Saturday afternoon with gold on the line.

Highlights: Russians dominate women’s figure skating

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
