First two-time gold medalists Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings dispatched their quarterfinal opponent – and later Jennifer Kessy and April Ross did likewise.

Misty and Kerri will face a Chinese team in Tuesday’s semifinals, while Jennifer and April will take on the top-seeded Brazilian pair.

Ted Emrich caught up with the USA’s beach volleyball stars after their quarterfinal triumphs.
