Commentary: Jim Gray looks back on London 2012

LONDON – And just like that, the London 2012 Olympic Games are a thing of the past.

A thrilling 17-day ride has wrapped up with the United States on top of the medal heap, with 104 – including 46 golds. But the Olympics are about much more than hardware.

In his nightly commentary, Westwood One’s Jim Gray looks back on all of the different elements that made the Games of the XXX Olympiad so special.

Highlights: Russians dominate women’s figure skating

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
