Volleyball: U.S. advances to gold medal game

LONDON – The U.S. women’s volleyball team are one victory away from making their coach Hugh McCutcheon a back-to-back Olympic champion.

The Americans defeated South Korea on Thursday to advance to Saturday’s gold-medal game against Brazil.

McCutcheon coached the U.S. men’s team to gold four years ago in Beijing.

After the victory, star setter Lindsey Berg and Coach McCutcheon spoke with our Ted Emrich.

Highlights: Russians dominate women’s figure skating

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
