SEATTLE – In a battle between two of the league’s top running backs, Adrian Peterson put up the bigger numbers, but Marshawn Lynch had the last laugh as Lynch’s Seattle Seahawks beat the Minnesota Vikings 30-20 on Sunday afternoon.
Peterson ran for 182 yards and two touchdowns for the Vikes, while Lynch had 124 yards and a TD for Seattle. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson also had a big game, completing 16 of 24 passes for 173 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Both teams are now 5-4 on the season.
