DETROIT – In a wild Thanksgiving Day game, Shayne Graham’s 32-yard field goal gave the Houston Texans a 34-31 overtime victory over the Detroit Lions.
The most-talked-about play of the game will undoubtedly be Justin Forsett’s 81-yard scamper after he appeared to be down by contact not once, but twice. However, by rule, because Detroit coach Jim Schwartz threw the red challenge flag on a play that is not able to be challenged, the play was not reviewed. The run pulled Houston to within three points at 24-21 and swung the momentum in the Texans’ favor.
Kevin Kugler and Mark Malone called the action on the Westwood One Radio Network.
