The twisting, turning season of the Minnesota Vikings comes down to this: win on Sunday and they make the playoffs. And of course, there’s the small matter of Adrian Peterson’s quest to, first, reach 2,000 yards rushing on the season, and then continue towards Eric Dickerson’s NFL record of 2,105.
But Peterson can’t do all the work on Sunday if the Vikings are to beat the Green Bay Packers. He’ll need help from quarterback Christian Ponder and one of his favorite targets, Kyle Rudolph.
The second-year tight end out of Notre Dame has 51 catches on the year and nine touchdowns. Ahead of the game on Sunday, he spoke with our Mark Malone.
