EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Rookie running back David Wilson scored three touchdowns and Eli Manning threw for another four as the New York Giants romped to a 52-27 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday evening.
The Saints took an early lead on Elbert Mack’s interception return for a touchdown, but the Giants answered straight back with Wilson’s 97-yard return for a touchdown on the ensuing kickoff. Wilson added two rushing TDs in the second half and amassed more than 300 all-purpose yards.
Manning was 22 of 35 for 259 yards and the four touchdowns as the Giants improved to 8-5 and maintained their one-game lead on both Washington and Dallas in the NFC East.
