This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” College Basketball Player of the Week is Brandon Paul.
The Illini’s senior guard led his team with 14 points in a 72-64 home win over Western Carolina, but it was his performance against 10th-ranked Gonzaga in Spokane that earned him this honor. Against the Bulldogs, Paul poured in 35 points and added four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks as Illinois improved to 10-0 under new coach John Groce with a 85-74 road win.
Brandon Paul was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone College Basketball Player of the Week.
