This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” Player of the Week for college football is Wisconsin running back Montee Ball.
The Badgers’ back carried the ball 21 times for 202 yards and three touchdowns as Wisconsin blew out Nebraska 70-31 in the Big Ten Championship Game to become the first five-loss team to reach the Rose Bowl.
Honorable mention also goes to Melvin Gordon, Ball’s teammate, who finished with 216 yards rushing and a touchdown. It was the first time in school history that Wisconsin had two 200-yard rushers in a single game.
Montee Ball was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone College Football Player of the Week.
