PHILADELPHIA – It wasn’t pretty, but the Cincinnati Bengals are alive and well and still control their own destiny in the AFC playoff race after a 34-13 victory over Philadelphia on Thursday Night Football.
Cincinnati trailed 13-10 at halftime, but pulled away with 24 unanswered points in a 3:13 span bridging the third and fourth quarters. The Bengals scored 31 points in all off of five Eagles turnovers.
The Bengals are now 8-6 and, with games against fellow playoff contenders Pittsburgh and Baltimore to come, will make the playoffs if they win out.
Ian Eagle and Boomer Esiason called the action on Westwood One Sports.
