DENVER – In one of the greatest playoff games in this or any other year, the Baltimore Ravens outlasted the Denver Broncos 38-35 in double overtime on Saturday at Sports Authority Field.
Justin Tucker’s 47-yard field goal 1:42 into the second extra period gave Baltimore the victory.
The Ravens looked down and out before Joe Flacco found Jacoby Jones with a 70-yard touchdown pass with :31 left in the fourth quarter to tie the game.
The teams traded punts in overtime before Peyton Manning’s interception late in the first extra session gave the Ravens a short field. After time ran out on the first OT, the teams changed ends and Baltimore ran Ray Rice three times to set up Tucker’s winning kick.
Baltimore will travel to the winner of the New England-Houston game for next Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
Kevin Kugler and Mark Malone called the action on Westwood One Sports.
