LOS ANGELES — Kyle Anderson scored 19 points and Shabazz Muhammad added 16 as UCLA downed Cal 79-65 in the Pac-12 opener for both teams.
It was the Bruins’ sixth straight victory as they improved to 11-3 on the season. Cal, which was led by Allen Crabbe’s 21 points, dropped to 8-5 on the year.
