GREEN BAY, WI – “Kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhn.” No, those weren’t boos you heard at Lambeau Field on Saturday night. Packers fans had very few reasons to be unhappy as fullback John Kuhn scored two touchdowns in a 24-10 Green Bay victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
Aaron Rodgers threw for 274 yards and a touchdown, and DuJuan Harris added another touchdown on the ground, but the star of the show was undoubtedly Kuhn. The big fullback only touched the ball five times (three rushes, two catches), but took two of them into the end zone for scores.
Minnesota was without starting quarterback Christian Ponder, who struggled all week in practice with an arm injury and was declared inactive before the game. In his place, Joe Webb was just 11 of 30 for 180 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Adrian Peterson capped his remarkable season with a 22-carry, 99-yard performance.
The Packers will play at San Francisco in a divisional round game next week.
