DAYTON, OH – A.J. Davis led the way as James Madison downed LIU-Brooklyn 68-55 in a First Four matchup on Wednesday.
Davis scored 20 points as the Dukes won despite leading scorer Rayshawn Goins being suspended for the first half after being arrested over the weekend.
NEC player of the year Jamal Olasewere was the top scorer for LIU, notching 20 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
The Dukes will stay in Dayton and play top-seeded Indiana on Friday.
