2012 was quite a year for the Baylor Bears, who entered the NCAA Tournament a perfect 34-0 on the season.
Six games later and Brittney Griner and the Bears still maintained their unblemished record, securing a second national championship for Baylor women’s basketball and becoming the first team in college basketball history to go 40-0.
Griner had 26 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks in a championship game victory over Notre Dame.
