Lacrosse Semifinals: Cornell Interviews

05/25/2013

PHILADELPHIA — Cornell is the only unseeded team to make this year’s men’s lacrosse semifinals, but they might be the hottest team entering this weekend’s action in Philadelphia.

The Big Red is on a big roll at the moment, having dispatched its first two opponents in the tournament by a combined score of 32-14. First up, it was last year’s national finalists Maryland by a final score of 16-8, then Cornell downed third-seeded Ohio State 16-6 in the quarterfinals.

Next up, it’s a matchup with Duke on Saturday afternoon in the first semifinal. Ahead of the game, our Dave Ryan and Steve Panarelli spoke with Big Red attacker Rob Pannell and head coach Ben DeLuca.
