Liverpool/Stoke and Arsenal/Aston Villa to kick off Westwood One’s Premier League coverage

Liverpool Arsenal EPL KickoffWestwood One Sports is pleased to announce the addition of exclusive play-by-play coverage of the Barclays Premier League to its sports programming lineup. The schedule will consist of at least 50 featured matches from the most popular and exciting soccer league in the world. Coverage of the 2013-14 season will begin on Saturday, August 17th and conclude on Sunday, May 11th, 2014.

Westwood One’s first broadcasts on August 17th will feature Steven Gerrard and Liverpool taking on Stoke City at 7:00 AM Eastern. The second game of our doubleheader begins at 9:45 AM Eastern as Jack Wilshere and Arsenal host Aston Villa.

Highlighting the early-season schedule will be multiple appearances by 20-time English Champions Manchester United and also matches involving traditional powers Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea. All 20 teams from the Premier League will make appearances during the first three months of the season.

The schedule of matches through November, as well as airtimes for those matches, can be found by clicking this link. Matches in December and through to the end of the 2013-14 season will be added to the schedule as the season progresses to assure the best possible match-ups.
