ROCHESTER, NY – Jason Dufner shot to the top of the leader board on Friday at Oak Hill, matching the lowest score ever carded in a major championship to lead at minus-nine after 36 holes.
Dufner’s bogey-free round of 63 featured an eagle and five birdies. His is the 26th 63 shot at one of the four major championships. Dufner left his birdie putt that would’ve set the record short at the 18th hole.
Adam Scott, Jim Furyk and Matt Kuchar are two shots back at -7 after the second round.
