The NFL’s International Series continues today with the second and final matchup of the 2013 season, with the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the San Francisco 49ers in London.
The games in England have been such a success that the league announced this week plans for three more regular-season contests at Wembley Stadium during the 2014 season: Dallas vs. Jacksonville, Detroit vs. Atlanta and Miami vs. Oakland. Dates for the three games will be announced when the NFL releases its schedule in the spring.
Ahead of today’s game at Wembley, our Tom McCarthy had a chance to talk to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about the success of the league overseas and, in particular, in the U.K.
