Suffice it to say, last Sunday was not a Sunday Funday for the Houston Texans and J.J. Watt.
Watt and his teammates were left bruised and, quite literally, bloodied by a Seattle Seahawks team that snatched a victory away from them with 17 unanswered points in the second half and a game-winning overtime field goal.
The enduring image from the game is undoubtedly that of Watt leaving the field after the defeat with blood streaming down his face. But as is the case in the NFL, the Texans have had seven days to heal their wounds and get ready for a primetime showdown with the San Francisco 49ers.
Ahead of the game, our Scott Graham caught up with the Texans’ star defender.
