DALLAS – What a difference a year makes – and also a few weeks.
12 months after getting blown out by Oklahoma in the annual Red River Rivalry game – and just weeks after just about everyone considered Texas to be a program in the midst of a major crisis – the Longhorns flipped the script, defeating the Sooners 36-20 in a dominating display on Saturday at the Cotton Bowl.
Johnathan Gray and Malcolm Brown combined for 243 yards rushing on 52 carries as Texas outgained Oklahoma 445 yards to 263.
John Sadak and Tim Brown called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
