SAN FRANCISCO – Vernon Davis had a huge game with eight catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns as the San Francisco 49ers kept pace in the NFC West with a 32-20 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
Davis had seven grabs and both scores in a massive first half, but San Francisco had to hold on in the second half as Arizona continued to stay in the game, failing on a two-point conversion that would’ve tied the score in the third quarter.
San Francisco is now 4-2, one game behind Seattle in the division race. Arizona fell to 3-3 on the season.
Chuck Cooperstein and Rod Woodson called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
