ARLINGTON, TX – Dwayne Harris had 222 return yards – including an electrifying 86-yard punt return for a touchdown – as the Dallas Cowboys downed the Washington Redskins 31-16 on Sunday Night Football.
Tony Romo was unable to repeat his record-setting performance from last week, throwing for just 170 yards, a touchdown and an interception. But he got the stat that matters most: the victory. It wasn’t all good news for Dallas, however. Both DeMarco Murray and DeMarcus Ware left the game with injuries.
Dallas improved to 3-3 and moved into a first-place tie with Philadelphia in the NFC East. The Redskins, who won the division in 2012, dropped to 1-4.
Kevin Kugler and James Lofton called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
