BALTIMORE – Justin Tucker hit five field goals as the Baltimore Ravens survived a late Pittsburgh rally to secure a 22-20 victory on Thursday night in Baltimore.
Baltimore got the scoring started early with a short touchdown pass from Joe Flacco to Torrey Smith to take a 7-0 lead, but that was the last time the Ravens would find the end zone on the night, but Tucker hit on all five of his attempts to build a lead.
In the end, a Jerricho Cotchery touchdown reception with 1:03 remaining in the fourth quarter gave the Steelers a chance to tie with a two-point conversion, but Ben Roethlisberger’s pass fell incomplete and the Ravens held on.
Ian Eagle and Trent Green called the action on WestwoodOne Sports.
