If Team USA is going to win the women’s ice hockey gold medal that has eluded them since the 1998 Nagano Games, chances are two things need to happen: they’ll have to beat Canada and get a big tournament from young star Hilary Knight.
The University of Wisconsin graduate led the NCAA with 45 goals in 2009 and helped Team USA to a silver medal four years ago in Vancouver. But like the rest of her teammates, she’s looking to go one step higher on the podium in Sochi.
