Countdown to Sochi: Ski jumper Lindsey Van

Germany Ski Jumping Ladies World CupSki jumping has been an Olympic staple for 90 years, but a big change is coming this month in Sochi. For the first time, women will be able to fly on skis in the Olympics as the event has been added to the program.

American Lindsey Van was one of the big players in the effort to get women’s ski jumping into the Olympic Winter Games and she says she’s excited to be part of the first U.S. Olympic Women’s Ski Jumping Team.

Highlights: Russians dominate women’s figure skating

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
