Olympic Interview: Figure skaters Gracie Gold and Ashley Wagner

Jason Gracie Ashley PaulSOCHI, Russia – The figure skating competition at the 2014 Sochi Games is in the books with the completion of the ladies’ free skate on Thursday night.

While Gracie Gold and Ashley Wagner missed the podium, finishing 4th and 7th respectively, they still skated well and go home as bronze medalists from the team competition.

After finishing their routines at the Iceberg Skating Palace, Gracie and Ashley stopped by our studios to talk with our figure skating announcers, Jason Horowitz and 1992 silver medalist Paul Wylie.

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
