Olympic Interview: Gold medalist Ted Ligety

Ted LigetySOCHI, Russia – Ted Ligety made history in two ways on Wednesday when he captured the giant slalom at Rosa Khutor Alpine Center.

He became the first American man to win gold in the event and also the first to capture two golds in alpine skiing.

After his runs, he headed down the mountain to our WestwoodOne studios at the International Broadcast Center and sat down with our John Tautges and Kevin Kugler.

As everyone predicted, the women’s figure skating competition in PyeongChang came down to a pair of Russians: 15-year-old Alina Zagitova and 18-year-old Evgenia Medvedeva.
