This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” College Basketball Player of the Week is Arizona State guard Jermaine Marshall.
WestwoodOne NCAA Basketball host Jason Horowitz filed this report:
“It’s a critical season for Herb Sendek at Arizona State, and Jermaine Marshall helped provide the Sun Devils with a critical win as they downed second-ranked Arizona in double overtime. Marshall was instrumental in sending the Wildcats to just their second loss of the season. He scored 29 points in the victory, including a pair of threes in the second overtime. The Sun Devils have made the NCAA tournament just once since 2003, and that was James Harden’s team in 2009. They have a dangerous backcourt duo with Marshall and Jahii Carson, and that win will go a long way in getting them back into the NCAA field.”
Jermaine Marshall was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone College Basketball Player of the Week.
