This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” College Basketball Player of the Week is Cameron Bairstow.
WestwoodOne NCAA Basketball host Jason Horowitz filed this report:
“Up until last week, San Diego State was the Mountain West’s only sure thing for the NCAA Tournament. New Mexico was probably close at that point, but there’s no doubt about the Lobos now. They won at UNLV and then handed San Diego State just its third loss of the season. Cameron Bairstow was unstoppable in the big home victory. The 6’9″ Aussie scored 26 points – nearly half of the Lobos’ total in the 58-44 win. Coach Craig Neal calls him the best 4 man in the country and he has now topped 20 for a 16th time this season.”
Cameron Bairstow was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone College Basketball Player of the Week.
