USA Womens Hockey Press ConferenceMany brand new medalists will return from Sochi to campuses across the United States in coming weeks.

Team USA’s silver-medal-winning women’s hockey team features student-athletes from Harvard, Boston College, Northeastern and Minnesota. The Canadian team, which won the gold in overtime over the Americans, includes players from Cornell and Boston University.

Lauryn Williams, a former track star at the University of Miami, became just the fifth athlete to win a medal at both the Summer and Winter Games when she captured silver in the women’s bobsled.
