Dakari JohnsonST. LOUIS, MO – In a game that lived up to every bit of the pregame hype, Kentucky ousted top-seeded Wichita State 78-76 to advance to the Sweet 16 and end the Shockers’ run at a perfect season.

Andrew and Aaron Harrison once again led the way for Kentucky, with 20 and 19 points respectively. Julius Randle and James Young contributed 13 points apiece.

Cleanthony Early led all scorers with 31 in defeat. Ron Baker added 20 for the Shockers, who had entered the game as the first 35-0 team in Division I men’s basketball history.
