LINCOLN, NE – The Women’s Final Four in Nashville will feature a pair of unbeatens as Connecticut joined Notre Dame in the national semifinals with a 69-54 victory over third-seeded Texas A&M in the Lincoln Regional Final on Monday night.
The Huskies’ five starters all scored in double figures, with Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis leading the way with 17 points. In fact, the UCONN starters accounted for all of the Huskies scoring. The five substitutes accounted for 19 minutes played, but didn’t attempt a single field goal or free throw.
The 37-0 Huskies will face the winner of tomorrow’s Maryland-Louisville game.
