Three-time ACC Player of the Year Thomas leads Terrapins into Final Four


Alyssa ThomasNASHVILLE – Alyssa Thomas has won conference player of the year honors three times, but Sunday’s national semifinal matchup with Notre Dame marks her first appearance in the NCAA Final Four.

Thomas paced Maryland with 19.1 points and 11.0 rebounds per game this season, and led the Terps past Louisiville in the regional final with 22 points and 13 boards against the Cards.

Debbie Antonelli caught up with Thomas ahead of Sunday’s game.
