BALTIMORE, MD – Jordan Wolf, Kyle Keenan, Deemer Class and Myles Jones led a balanced attack as Duke wrapped up its second NCAA lacrosse championship in a row with an 11-9 victory over Notre Dame at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Blue Devils dominated the first half and took a 5-1 lead into the break, but had to hold on as the Fighting Irish lived up to their name in the second half. Sergio Perkovic scored five times for Notre Dame, but it wasn’t enough.
Jordan Wold’s empty-net goal late in the fourth quarter secured a third championship in five seasons for Duke.
Jason Benetti and Mark Dixon called the action on WestwoodOne Sports and the NCAA Radio Network.
