OMAHA, NE – It was another great day for pitchers, but the hero of the day for the Texas Longhorns was shortstop C.J. Hinojosa. His seventh inning lead-off home run proved to be enough to win the game and keep Texas alive in the College World Series. It was just the second home run of the season for Hinojosa, and the very first of the 2014 CWS. Texas starter Chad Hollingsworth gets the win on an impressive four hit shutout performance.
Kevin Kugler and John Bishop called the action from TD Ameritrade Park.
