OMAHA, NE – Brandon Waddell tossed a complete game and the Virginia bats did the rest as the Cavaliers forced a winner-take-all battle for the College World Series with a 7-2 victory over Vanderbilt on Tuesday night.
Kenny Towns was three-for-five with a pair of RBIs for Virginia, which trailed 2-1 early before rallying for six runs over the final four innings.
