OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Hannah Rogers threw a four-hit shutout as Florida took the first game of the best-of-three championship at the Women’s College World Series 5-0 over Alabama on Monday night.
Aubree Munro got the offense started for the Gators with a solo home run in the top of the third. Florida would plate two more in the fifth and another pair in the seventh en route to the first championship series victory in program history. The Gators were 0-4 in two previous trips to the final.
Kevin Kugler and Leah Amico called the action from ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.
