A new NFL season is upon us and that means it’s time to restart our annual analyst pick ’ems.
In our first year of picks, Mark Malone was our only panelist to correctly pick the Ravens to win Super Bowl XLVII and he also came out on top for the season. Last year, it was Boomer Esiason’s turn to be the only analyst to back the Seahawks to beat Denver in the big game. Boomer was also our overall champion for the year.
Interestingly, like something out of the European football leagues, our lowest finisher has been “relegated” each of the past two seasons. Of course, we kid. After the 2012 season, Tony Boselli left Westwood One to become the full-time radio analyst for the Jaguars. The following year, Trent Green left to make the leap to TV with CBS.
So who will pick the right Super Bowl winner and reign supreme? And whose picks will be the worst but land them a cushy new gig anyway? Come back all year long to see how the guys do.
