ST. LOUIS, MO – Trailing 14-3 late in the first half, the San Francisco 49ers needed a big play to change the game’s momentum. Boy, did they get it.
Brandon Lloyd got behind the St. Louis defense for an 80-yard score with :14 remaining in the first half and the 49ers never looked back, completing a 31-17 victory over the Rams.
Colin Kaepernick was 22 of 36 for 343 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.
Kevin Harlan and Kurt Warner called the action on Westwood One.
