DENVER – Peyton Manning made history as the Denver Broncos rolled to a 42-17 victory over San Francisco on Sunday night.
It was another near-perfect performance in a career full of them, as Manning tossed four touchdowns passes and moved past Brett Favre for the most career touchdown passes. Manning’s third of the night – the 509th overall of his career – set a new NFL standard just before halftime.
After the break, he added his 510th, which also went to Demaryius Thomas, as Denver scored 21 unanswered points to make it a 42-10 game at the end of three quarters.
Kevin Kugler and James Lofton called the action on Westwood One.
