HOUSTON, TX – The Indianapolis Colts raced to a 24-0 lead after one quarter on Thursday night, then held on as Houston rallied back, eventually earning a 33-28 victory in the first truly competitive Thursday night game of the season.
Andrew Luck threw for three touchdown passes, including one to T.Y. Hilton. Hilton put on a show, with 223 receiving yards on nine catches.
Star Texans defender J.J. Watt scored his third touchdown of the year in the loss, scooping up a fourth-quarter fumble and racing it back to give the Texans a chance to steal a victory.
Ian Eagle and Rod Woodson called the action on Westwood One.
